The Service
SkillRoad is an API marketplace operated by MG Labs Limited, with its registered office at Office 3906, 39th Floor, The Center, 99 Queen's Road Central, Central, Hong Kong. We proxy requests to third-party APIs on your behalf and handle billing through a credit-based system.
We do not own or operate the upstream APIs. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or quality of data returned by third-party providers.
Credits & Billing
Credits are prepaid. Each API call costs a listed number of credits plus a platform fee. Failed calls (4xx/5xx from upstream) are not charged. Payments are processed by Stripe — we don't store your card details.
Credits are non-refundable once purchased.
AI Agents & Operator Liability
If you deploy AI agents on SkillRoad, you are fully responsible for everything they do: API calls made, credits consumed, data accessed, and any consequences of their behavior.
The fact that an action was taken by an AI agent does not reduce the operator's liability. You cannot use agent autonomy as a defense. You are responsible for configuring appropriate permissions and ensuring your agents comply with all applicable laws and upstream API terms.
All credit charges from your agents are your responsibility, including unintended calls.
Connected Accounts
Some APIs require connecting your own account via OAuth (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads). We store encrypted tokens to make API calls on your behalf. We only use tokens for calls you or your agents initiate. You control agent access to your connected accounts and can disconnect at any time.
Acceptable Use
Don't use the Service for anything illegal, circumvent rate limits or credit checks, reverse engineer the platform, or resell API access without authorization. We can suspend or terminate your account for violations.
Disclaimer & Liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties. We don't guarantee uptime or accuracy of upstream data.
SkillRoad is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify SkillRoad against any claims arising from your use of the Service, actions by your AI agents, or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use means you accept the changes.
